A behavioral health services provider runs detox, residential treatment, halfway housing, and reentry programs across multiple facilities. Staff rely on an Enterprise Management (EM) application, built on ColdFusion, to manage clients, assign tasks, and monitor day-to-day operations. Over time, the Taskboard inside that system — the screen staff open dozens of times a day — had become a bottleneck: cumbersome navigation, no visibility into overdue or pending work, and nothing to show workload trends at a glance.
10Decoders modernized the Taskboard in place, layering a React-based interface, interactive KPI dashboards, and bulk task operations onto the existing ColdFusion backend — without rewriting or disrupting the business logic already running in production. The result is a faster, clearer, more scalable Taskboard that staff use every day across facilities.

The Solution
The new Taskboard gives staff a single, modern view of their work — KPI cards summarizing pending, overdue, and completed tasks up top, with interactive charts showing completion trends and workload distribution underneath. Filtering, sorting, and search sit right alongside the task grid, so staff can find what they need without hopping between screens.
Day to day, that means less time spent locating and updating tasks and more time on care. Supervisors can reassign or close out tasks in bulk instead of one at a time, and the dashboard gives them a live read on how work is distributed across facilities — all while the ColdFusion logic that already ran reliably in production kept running underneath, untouched.
